Melbourne Ice Women AWIHL Season 2011-12 Tryout Information
Cost of try outs: $60.00 per person (payable in cash at first tryout session) Players must attend 2 out of 3 on and off ice try-outs to be eligible for the team.

Off-ice Ensure you are ready at 10:20am. Meeting place: Kevin Bartlett Sporting & Recreational Complex (Burnley Park). Meet at the green rotunda on the left as you drive into F R Smith Drive.

AUSTRALIAN WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE
Melbourne Dragons join forces with Melbourne Ice:
The Melbourne Dragons will now be playing under the Melbourne Ice banner as the two team unite! For more information visit www.melbourneice.com.au.
The Dragons website will still be up and running this season as information is moved over to the Ice website.
WOMEN TO PLAY JUNIOR MIDGET HOCKEY
Since the winter hockey season of 2008 open age Women are able to play in the highest level of junior hockey in Victoria - Junior Midget (previously termed Junior Elite). Junior Midget is full contact which means there is body checking so it is something you should be aware of.
For Open Aged women who do not wish to play body checking hockey they are able to play in the non checking Senior Premier C and Recreational C level.
Girls under 18 are able to play in various mixed sex Junior grades depending on age.
